"One Step Closer: Songs to Recover By" is a nine-song acoustic album created especially for people in recovery. The songs tell the stories of addiction; from hitting rock bottom to rediscovering yourself and the ongoing journey of healing.
To capture their story and carry on the message of kindness, Wood, Shantell and Marcum wrote a song called "A Little Bit of Love." On November 18, 2015, they even had the opportunity to perform it for the kids in Mrs. Lupton's class
I've always believed that everyone has a story that could inspire a song. So, in April 2011 I launched the 'Your Story' Project to invite fans to send me their stories to inspire a song for my album, "Stories Behind Songs."
